Claudie Allard

"During the pandemic I really had difficult times... The closure of the gyms really affected my mental health. I've been training since I was 16, so it's like a drug for me.

I really had depression. My body was in need of something but I didn't have the necessary equipment to train at home. In addition, it's so expensive! I felt tired and slowed down. I cried and I wasn't really happy. I didn't know where to start. As I no longer had motivation, I ordered food from restaurants instead of eating.
I didn't want anything anymore. I lost all motivation for training, gained weight and found myself really ugly.

When I saw the clothes in your collection that were worn by girls of different sizes it really inspired me! I began to think that I had to accept my body but above all that I was more than a body. I am a person with a strong personality and I had to motivate myself to feel good and beautiful about myself. When I received my first VITAE set I was really surprised by the quality and the fact they were really comfortable. Quietly, I started doing live training with Laeticia. It really helped me like training at home. Then when the gyms reopened I was on an incredible momentum!!

I haven't stopped since! To this day, I advise and still buy your clothes not only because they are beautiful but also because I love your philosophy and the trust they bring me."

Elizabeth Destounis
Montreal, QC

"When i was 16 years old, I felt sick so I went to a doctor and nothing was wrong with me and I did bunch of tests. I was fine but I was getting worse. I went to hospital and saw another doctor and one of them told me "Do you know what ancient disorder is?". He referred me to a psychiatrist and told me that I was suffering from anxiety with panic attack...

It was so hard and overwhelming, I felt tired all the time, paranoid, stressed, and I couldn't sleep or eat. Everyone was telling me that it was in my head. But I went for help and I started to work on myself to get better.

I started to go to the gym because I wasn't feeling well and beautiful. I didn't want to eat because I was feeling fat and I wanted to be skinny. My anxiety got worse. I wasn't eating and sleeping.

One day someone special told me "you are beautiful the way you are, you don't have to be skinny to be beautiful. You put too much on yourself, it's okay to take a deep breath and let go of the pressure, the stress, and the anxiety" and at that moment, I felt relieved because she was right. I started to work on my confidence and self-love since then 💕"

Myla Robertson
St. Thomas, ON
"I've always been an active person my whole life, joining every sport possible when I was younger. I started working out when I was 25 and really enjoyed feeling better but I still didn't eat the greatest.
Through that time I had two beautiful kids, and although it took some time to lose that weight I got back on track.
It wasn't until October 2018 that really rocked my world when I found out I had breast cancer.
That's when fitness became a huge part of my life. I cut out any bad foods and started working out to better my body.
Then Vitae came into my life! And it gave me more of a drive to better myself by seeing all the other amazing women trying to better themselves too! It gave me purpose to strive for more. The amazing connections I've made through Vitae is the best part of it and the fact I love all your workout gear, I truly need more money lol it's been an honour and pleasure to be apart of the Vitae Community!!"

Whatever you may be struggling with, please know that you will get through it and you are NOT alone. These girls are amazing examples of overcoming personal struggles.
