Here are some ideas to RECHARGE your mind, body, and soul:

MIND:  What puts your mind at ease?

1. Make a list of your accomplishments
Sit down and jot down a short list of your accomplishments, small or big. This is a great way to be proud of who you are, as you should! This is a great way to give you motivation and energy to move forward, and make those power moves you’ve been thinking about. 

2. Let go of past mistakes
Be okay with making mistakes. We wouldn’t learn to do better if it weren’t for them! Forgive yourself, let go of the past, and focus on your goals for the future.

3. Less time on negative vibes & people, more time on good vibes and close friends 
If certain people or situations have you feeling down, take a break from them. This could mean putting certain relationships on hold until you have the energy to deal with them.

Good people tend to radiate good energy. Recharge by spending more time with people who make you laugh, lift you up - instead of bringing you down. 

4. Do something artsy
Art is an excellent way to help soothe an exhausted mind. Whether it’s painting a picture, writing a poem, or polishing your nails. Take the time to do something that makes you feel good, and at the same time shuts off your brain for a little while. 

5. Write in a journal
Keeping a journal is a great way to help reduce stress by expressing your feelings. Try to write for at least five minutes a day, at the start or end of each day.


BODY: What makes your body feel good?

1. Change your diet
Your energy levels are greatly impacted by your diet. Experts recommend a mix of complex carbohydrates, such as whole grains and starchy vegetables with lean proteins and healthy fat at each meal. Feed your body with the good stuff for optimal energy. 

2. Stretch
A stressed, exhausted body is more prone to injury than one that’s relaxed and healthy. You can help recharge by stretching your muscles for just five minutes every few days. 

3. Exercise
Instead of sitting down to recharge, try getting up and moving around. Walking or biking — even just for 20 minutes — can leave you feeling energized for hours. Go outside for a supercharge with fresh oxygen, vitamin D, and a nice breeze. 

4. Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy can help relieve any tension in your body, as well as stress. Scents such as lavender and sage are believed to be particularly relaxing to those under stress. Try it out! You never know if it might work for you. 

5. Get more sleep
Sleep is the ultimate body recharger. Need a mid-day nap? Take it! Need to sleep until you feel you have more energy? Do it! Sleep is a great way for your body to regain its energy. 

SOUL: What sets your soul on fire?

1. Listen to music
Music is a great way to zone out and relieve any anxiety. Ever listen to a really good song and it just automatically soothes your soul? Yup, me too. Turn on your 90’s Throwback Playlist or whatever music you’ve been bumping lately and just vibe with it!

2. Get creative
Do something new or creative! This is the perfect way to recharge and to come back with more inspiration on anything. Take a break from your responsibilities, get out there, get inspired, have fun, and just do you, boo.

3. Hearty meal
Sometimes you just need to eat some comfort food. Take a day to order some take out, grab some snacks, or drink a glass of wine. You deserve it. 

4. Put on a cute outfit 
Okay, this one might sound a bit weird. But nothing else sets my soul on fire like feeling confident as f*$k in a cute fit with some make-up on. If it’s putting on a cute fit, getting your nails done, going for a spray tan, getting a new haircut. Whatever makes you go ‘I’m feeling myself’, then it’s an instant recharger. 

5. Binge a series on Netflix
There’s nothing like getting into a really good series that you just can’t stop watching. With this, you’ll be able to gain some perspectives and use it to navigate your own life. PS. Are you a team hot reality tv show or mysterious crime tv show?!
