Find your favorite hiking spot and take your mom there! Going on a long walk or hike is the perfect time to have long conversations and catch-up on each other’s lives. Truly, we believe some of the most down-to-earth conversations happen here (no pun intended haha). 

Plus, there are so many benefits that you can get when you are outdoors! Breathe in the fresh air, soak in the Vitamin D from the sun, get some exercise in, and feel connected to the environment around you. Get all those benefits AND connect with your mom, we love that!

2. Do a wine & paint night 

This is the perfect time to explore your creativity and share it. By doing this, you can express your thoughts and get inside your mom’s brain a little too! This super fun activity can also be very meaningful when you get to learn more about each other’s artistic side.

Want to make it even more fun? You can make this baking day a cook-off and have a little cheeky competition. Perhaps your other family members can join the cook-off and you can team up with your mom or get them to be the judges! 

6. Dress up and dine out

You both deserve a night out! Ask your mom what her favorite restaurant is and treat her to a nice dinner. You can get away from the rest of the family and spend some quality time with her, where you can both look your best and feel your best.
